Learning Assessments

I assess people from the ages of 6 years through to 50 years and 11 months, using a variety of cognitive and academic measures approved for telepsychology use by their respective publishers.

We can work together to:

• Answer diagnostic questions about specific learning differences including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and/or dysgraphia

• Explore cognitive strengths and areas in need of support

• Investigate and identify giftedness

• Investigate and identify intellectual disability

Assessment Process

​

Learning assessments are completed over multiple stages and may include:

• Clinical interview with the client (and parents/caregivers where relevant), conducted via telepsychology

• Standardised cognitive assessment, delivered via Coviu using Pearson's Q-interactive digital stimulus books for Wechsler measures

• Academic achievement testing to identify specific areas of learning difficulty

• Review of developmental history, school reports, and previous assessments where available

• Integration of assessment findings and preparation of a comprehensive written report

• A feedback session to discuss results and recommendations

Not every assessment requires all components. The assessment process is tailored to the individual's needs and referral question.
